The short version
- Yes: HubSpot officially sells CPQ now. It lives inside Revenue Hub, launched June 2026, with its own HubSpot page titled "AI CPQ Software for Sales Teams". The old "HubSpot has no CPQ" advice is dead.
- Revenue Hub absorbed Commerce Hub: the former Commerce Hub URL now serves Revenue Hub, with tiers at Free, Professional $85 per seat per month (annual), and Enterprise $140.
- The native stack covers quotes, pricing rules, discount approvals, e-signature, contracts, subscription billing, invoices, and payments; the Fall 2026 Spotlight added "quotes generate themselves" and a Revenue Agent in public beta.
- Where dedicated CPQ still earns its keep, in our implementation experience: guided selling, multi-constraint product configuration, and deep approval matrices. DealHub and PandaDoc sit in the HubSpot marketplace for exactly that.
- On the Salesforce side, classic CPQ stopped being sold to new customers in 2025 per industry reporting; the successor is Revenue Cloud at $150 to $200 per user per month plus a separate Billing add-on.
The Answer Changed in June
For years the correct answer to "does HubSpot have a CPQ" was "not really, buy an app". That answer died in June 2026, when HubSpot launched Revenue Hub, its quote-to-cash hub, and started selling a capability it plainly labels CPQ, on a page literally titled "AI CPQ Software for Sales Teams". Most advice online has not caught up, including, until recently, some of ours. Here is the current map, verified against HubSpot’s own pages in October 2026.
What HubSpot CPQ Actually Includes
The native stack, per HubSpot’s Revenue Hub and CPQ pages:
- Quoting and pricing: flat and tiered pricing, line-item discounts and tax, quote templates, Price Books.
- Approvals: workflows triggered by pricing or discount rules - up to ten approvers on Professional, multi-step approval chains on Enterprise.
- Paper and money: e-signature, auto-created contract records, subscription billing, invoices, and payments via HubSpot Payments (2.9% cards) or Stripe.
- The AI layer: since the Fall 2026 Spotlight, "quotes generate themselves" from deal context, with a Revenue Agent for collections in public beta.
- Tiers: Free (basic billing, up to 2 users), Professional at $85 per seat per month billed annually, Enterprise at $140. CPQ needs Professional or above.
One naming note, because half the internet still uses the old word: Revenue Hub absorbed Commerce Hub. The former Commerce Hub URL now serves Revenue Hub, and what you knew as Commerce Hub is in there, plus CPQ, contracts, and revenue reporting. The foundation traces to HubSpot’s 2024 acquisition of the CPQ and billing vendor Cacheflow.
HubSpot CPQ Launch: The Checklist
The launch pass we run on Revenue Hub CPQ builds, as a one-page working PDF: catalog and Price Books, pricing and approval rules, quote templates and e-sign, billing wiring, and the pilot-team cutover.
- Licence, catalog, and rule work in dependency order
- Approval rules tested as a rep, not as an admin
- The graduation test: when DealHub-class tooling earns its cost
Where Native Ends: The Honest Part
HubSpot’s pages list no limitations, so what follows is our implementation experience rather than vendor fact. The native CPQ is genuinely enough when pricing is list-plus-discounts and approvals are threshold-based. It runs out of road on three fronts: guided selling (rules that walk a rep through configuring the right bundle), multi-constraint product configuration (this option excludes that one, quantities drive dependencies), and deep approval matrices (regional plus margin plus legal sign-off chains). That is precisely why the HubSpot marketplace keeps a dedicated CPQ category: PandaDoc (about 18,000 installs) for document-heavy quoting and DealHub (600-plus installs) for CPQ plus contract lifecycle plus billing control inside the HubSpot UI are the two we meet most. Starting native and graduating when the rules outgrow it is usually the right order - buying DealHub-class tooling for list-price quoting is paying for complexity you do not have.
The Salesforce Side of the Question
Half the people asking about HubSpot CPQ are really comparing against Salesforce. That comparison changed too: per industry reporting, Salesforce stopped selling classic CPQ to new customers in 2025 (existing customers renew fine; no end-of-life date is announced, and sunset years floating around are speculation). The successor is Revenue Cloud: $150 per user per month for Growth, $200 for Advanced, billed annually, with Revenue Cloud Billing as a separate add-on. It also wore the "Agentforce Revenue Management" name for a while before the September 2026 naming walk-back, so expect messy search results.
The 2026 decision, then, is Revenue Hub at $85 to $140 per seat versus Revenue Cloud at $150 to $200 per user plus Billing. Our honest heuristic: if your quotes are products, prices, discounts, and a signature, HubSpot gets you live in weeks at half the licence cost. If your revenue motion is amendments, co-termination, ramp schedules, and a deal desk, Revenue Cloud is built for exactly that weight. We implement both - the free scoping call exists so the recommendation comes from your quoting process, not our certification wall. The full practice lives at hubspot-consulting, and the Fall 2026 Spotlight breakdown covers what else moved.
